With the semester starting to speed up, IU students are finding themselves buried in a huge amount of work and exams. Since IU is so diverse, most students are friends with people in completely different classes. This makes it hard to want to study while their friends are off enjoying the nice change in weather. Therefore more and more students pile into our main library. The main priority when they choose what to wear to the library is comfort. Now being a Fashionista, I tend to change it up to look cute and be comfortable. This Fashionista created the perfect library look balancing style and comfort!
Starting with comfort, this Fashionista wore a beautiful pair of light tan leggings. A great pair of leggings are such a great investment because they fit to your body but you don’t feel constrained. Being a knit, they are undoubtedly soft and cozy. These pants are perfect for a casual look or you can spruce them up for a night out! The light color of this Fashionista’s leggings pair wonderfully with her cherry red cowl neck sweater. A trend I’m loving in sweaters this season is the side slit on sweaters and tops which leaves you room to layer with a button-up or go without anything underneath. A classic I always love is a proportionate cowl neck. This Fashionista’s sweater incorporates multiple trends but doesn’t appear to be overdone making it a great addition to wear to the library.
Since it still gets cold on campus, you need to chose your shoes wisely! When I walk around campus I notice that so many people own a pair of knit and suede boots or booties. They are the ultimate comfortable accessory for most people. This Fashionista slipped on her camel and tan booties which go beautifully with her tan leggings and cherry knit. To finish off her look she swept her long hair out of the way in a side braid. This Fashionista chose to put on a beige knit headband to keep her ears warm. For the library this she decided to stay natural with a clean and makeup-free face.
One Simple Change: Plan to finish the day with a night out with the girls? Take your hair down and throw on a pair of over-the-knee heeled boots. You’ll stay warm and comfortable but everyone will just think you look darling!
