WHAT TO WEAR: Library

February 18th, 2015 at 2:00am

It’s crazy to believe that we’re almost mid-way into the semester already. Just last week it felt like we were all celebrating the New Year, and now we’re getting ready for midterms, not to mention Spring Break is right around the corner! It always feels like the spring semester goes by faster than the fall, but hey, I’m not complaining.

As college students, we’re always told to never cram the night before an exam, but sometimes procrastination knows how to get the best of us. However, some of us do know how to fight the urge, like this Fashionista I spotted on her way to the library. She proves that you don’t need to be in sweats and flip-flops to be comfortable enough to get work done.

Her outfit is so simple, but it’s the details that really caught my attention. From the front, it looks like just a regular black sweatshirt with some white stripes around the sleeves. Then she turns around and bam! This plain black long sleeve isn’t so plain anymore thanks to the varsity-style, Tokyo graphic print on the back.

Sometimes less is more, and this Fashionista definitely appreciates that. She let her shirt do all the talking and styled it with a pair of distressed denim. You can never go wrong with a pair of great denim jeans, and the distressed look adds just the right amount of character. She then finished off the look with classic black combat boots, which are an essential for everyone’s closet.

One Simple Change: Getting together with some friends to take a break from all the hard studying? This look can easily be transformed for a night out. Just replace the combat boots with a pair of single strap heels and switch out the school bag for a clutch with a pop of color. Now you’re ready to have some fun!
