WHAT TO WEAR: Interviews

College is about finding yourself, figuring out what you want to do with your life, making connections and so much more. In the end though we strive for a degree in order to get a job that can sustain a lifestyle. After that degree is obtained, the only thing standing in the way of you and that dream job is that dreaded interview. You may have those friends who say they are not nervous about job interviews but we all get a little scared. One mistake and your resume is tossed and back to square one. Don’t let your outfit be that one mistake.

First impressions are important. My first impression of this Fashionista was “wow!” This look is great for an interview. It is professional but it displays a hint of personality. I have expressed how much I love black so for me you can never go wrong with a black knee length dress. The white and black blazer creates a nice contrast with the dress.

Can I just say how much I love her necklace?! This bronze feathered statement necklace is a conversation starter for sure and it can be worn with almost anything. Her blue handbag is amazing. The color itself is awesome but the golden bronze accents pair nicely with her necklace. Wedges are a great shoe to have because they are easy to walk in and of course gives you a nice lift.

One Simple Change: Let’s say you are going to brunch after your interview. After a quick few changes you’ll be ready. Just ditch the blazer and swap the nude wedges for a flat sandal.
