WHAT TO WEAR: Holiday Season

Scream it from the top of your lungs, Christmas break has finally come! No more exams, papers, late night studying or 8 a.m. finals. We can finally get back to enjoy our lives stress free and filled with fun, and let’s be honest, is anything more enjoyable and relaxing than completely switching out that closet for a new season? The time has officially arrived and we’re all ready to move those summer clothes out of the closet and jam pack it full of comfy sweaters and jackets. Sandals turn into booties, shorts turn to jeans, and those cute little crop tops change to oversize flannels and cardigans.

With all the free time that comes with winter break, we also have a million different holiday events to attend. Let’s face it, Christmas isn’t just one day out of the year. We have our immediate family Christmas, Friendsmas, extended family Christmas, New Year’s Eve bashes, and New Year’s Day brunch! What a better excuse is there to go shopping? Whether you’re finding an outfit to sit next to grandma at the dinner table or planning the perfect holiday date night attire, looking stylish while being festive is a must for this season.

This Fashionista was on top of things and went all out for the holiday theme. Rather than going with the usual ugly Christmas sweater theme, she switched it up and was definitely the center of attention. In her outfit for the holiday dinner, she is wearing a festive poncho with deep side slits, black leggings, black leather booties with lace-up details on the side, and, of course, red chunky statement jewelry. There is no doubt she will survive the 100 questions from family members about her life away school while looking flawless as usual.
