WHAT TO WEAR: Greek Life

The time has finally come. It is bitter sweet but, for some of us, summer is over as we head back to school for rush week preparations. Time to trade in your bathing suits and flip flops for sundresses and wedges. I know that dressing up can be fun, but wearing heels everyday for two weeks in a row can be a slightly miserable. But before you get out the Band-Aids to cover the endless blisters, check out this Fashionista’s beautiful yet comfortable outfit to beat the rush week blues.

I have said it once, and I will say it again: I am a strong supporter of rompers. But sometimes they can get a little pricey. This Fashionista proves that you don’t have to compromise quality for price with this romper from the Kendall and Kylie collection at Pacsun. Aside from the awkward strip down you have to do just to use the bathroom in a romper, most are pretty comfortable. My favorite thing about this Fashionista’s outfit is the mostly open back. We all know that bras are just expensive means of discomfort so if you can go braless, why wouldn’t you? For those of you who fear you are unable to go without a bra, it is still possible. Trust me when I say it all just comes down to the right romper and maybe a sticky bra here and some fashion tape there.

This Fashionista opted for wedges instead of heels, which she was probably happy about by the end of the eight-hour day. She also chose a simple gold necklace over a heavy chunky one as well as her everyday watch and bracelets. Some natural looking waves and soft makeup and she is ready to take on two weeks of sister bonding.

One Simple Change: Most of the student population is not Greek Life but every student comes back to school in the fall, meaning everyone needs a back to school outfit. While fall may be on its way, the weather is still averaging a nice, cool 95 degrees each day. Beat the heat by swapping out wedges for a pair of Converse and you are ready for your first day.
