WHAT TO WEAR: Greek Life

As much as we do not want to believe it, summer is flying by. Before we know it, all the beach days, barbecues and spontaneous road trips will be coming to an end. For students who are active in Greek life at their universities, it means getting prepared for fall recruitment.

As soon as students return to campus, you cannot walk through the hallways without seeing a bunch of people representing their organizations. Something you do not see is students wearing just letters and sweatpants.

Believe it or not, fashion comes into play when wearing greek letters. As a member of a Greek organization, wearing letters every day can be a little repetitive and boring. Incorporating current fashion trends helps to jazz up any outfit.

A common trend that has been seen on college campuses regarding sorority women style is wearing letters paired with high-waisted shorts and sandals or Converse. Another trend would be the classic jean jacket, letters and cuffed colored pants.

This Theta Phi Alpha sister is rocking a graphic T-shirt with black high-waisted shorts and black thong sandals by Jack Rogers. This Fashionista chose a black and white striped bag to accessorize her outfit. Her colored sunnies are super chic and really add some flair to her look.

One Simple Change: An amazing way to promote your organization during the recruitment process is to go into your college town and grab a bite to eat with fellow Greek organization members. If you are running late to dinner with friends after a long day of recruitment events, no worries. Keep your letters on and wear them proud! Always incorporate your own personal style when wearing letters.
