WHAT TO WEAR: Going to Class? Keep it Casual

The everyday struggle of waking up and picking out an outfit increasingly becomes 10 times harder in college, especially as the weather changes, with the confusing 50 degree mornings but 75 degree days. Additionally, in college, you can wear whatever you want, which makes for the options to be totally endless. But even with that infinity, I’ll admit there have been days where I totally just throw on a pair of running shorts, a T-shirt and tennis shoes—those 8:00 a.m. classes are not easy. But there’s such an easy way to create a put together look without putting in too much effort.

Keep it casual. Wear a pair of “mom jeans,” as this Fashionista called them, and an old-school T-shirt. Then, spice it up with all the accessories! This Fashionista added a black choker, black booties, a black belt and a small brown backpack. It’s the same simple, casual T-shirt and jeans, with just the right amount of spice that makes the look becomes so well done. That 8:00 a.m. class has nothing on you!

Style tips: Cuff your jeans to give them a cropped look and show off those incredible booties. Have to walk a ways to get to class? No worries. Switch out the booties for a good pair of sneakers. That’s also a great way to keep it even more casual. Lastly, I go to school in Southern California, but if you live somewhere cooler just throw on a simple cardigan to give you that extra warmth and comfort you need.
