WHAT TO WEAR: Girl’s Night Out

On a hot summer day, what better way to pass time than to hang out with your girls. Due to the heat this Fashionista was looking for the best way to look good but also stay cool and nailed the look.

Our Fashionista offers up wise words of advice in, “to beat the heat, maintain a flow.” A skater dress is one of the best ways to remain cool while looking cool and this emerald green piece is a simple yet classy dress from Forever21. She dressed this look down with a faux denim long sleeved button-down that has been left unbuttoned to show off the lariat necklace and black choker. She rounds out the look with a classic pair of white Converse shoes.

The ’90s are making a triumphant return with looks like a black choker that anyone can rock and our Fashionista’s space buns. They were stylized by Gwen Stefani and Posh Spice, making an appearance on Model/Actress Cara Delevigne’s head during her press tours for new film Suicide Squad.

Makeup was kept light because of the heat and kept in place with a setting spray. Eyeliner winged in a thin cat eye that is picking up speed with many celebrities. A nude lip that is easily achievable with this Fashionista’s favorite color at the moment, “Frick-and-Frack” by ColourPop. And don’t be afraid to bring your setting powder with you on hot days to touch your face up like this Fashionista did.

One Simple Change: To take this look into a date night look, ditch the button up and throw on a pair of heels or black booties that would tie the whole look together.
