WHAT TO WEAR: Girl's Night Out

Your friends are finally getting back from spring break, so what does that mean? Girl’s night out! It’s finally starting to warm up in Bloomington but this Fashionista planned for the cold wind and chilly nights. Personally, the second I don’t have to wear snow boots is when I start to plan my spring looks. This Fashionista has the perfect outfit for a girl’s night out when the weather is transitioning from cold to warm. She wasn’t afraid to wear some fun prints because she kept the rest of her look clean.

This Fashionista created a chic look by starting with a tight black turtleneck tucked into a satin floral skirt. The black background of the floral skirt not only ties in with the other black aspects but keeps the look appropriate for a night out with the gals. This Fashionista’s short trench coat has a lustrous finish that fancies up the outfit and keeps her warm.

A girl’s night out is a perfect excuse to bring out those black heels you love! This Fashionista wore a pair of platform heeled booties that added that perfect height. Also to add some sparkle she wore a long silver necklace. Her kate spade purse is such a great print that works surprisingly well with her floral skirt. Try a simpler black and cream print like this kate spade shoulder bag. To finish off, this Fashionista chose a bright red lip and pulled her hair up in a high pony tail.

This Fashionista appears to be taller than she is not just because of her heels but because of some simple tricks. She first has a high ponytail then her turtle neck top down to black tights and heels. Every Fashionista knows that when your shoes are the same color as your legs they seem longer. Keep these tips in mind when your dressing to impress. But remember, you’re with your girls so just have fun!

One Simple Change: Want to try this Fashionista’s look in the summer? Keep the high pony tail, bright lip and printed purse. To change this look into a summertime favorite try a printed dress, heeled sandals and bare legs!
