You join a sorority to meet amazing women and make friends. Not only do you gain sisters for life, but also their closets. One of the perks of being in a sorority is all these fun events that come along with it like formal. You get all dressed up for a fun night out with all your sisters. The best part about it is you don’t even need to go to the mall to buy a dress, just peruse your sister’s closets for your perfect fit.

This little number is both elegant and classic with a little bit of edge. I would say this is the epitome of the little black dress every girl should own. It is simple and timeless and can be dressed up or dressed down. In this case, she dressed it up for her sorority formal. The frigid weather usually calls for your parka but this Fashionista opts for her gray and black tweed peacoat to make the outfit. The red lip is a classy touch to spice up any black ensemble. The lip helps tie in the burgundy cross-body bag, although they are two different shades, it is visually more appealing than an overflow of red. To keep her look on the edgier side she chooses her Lita look-a-like booties to finish of her look.

One Simple Change: You could take this dress out to lunch with your friends on a Saturday afternoon by simply changing a few things. Throw on a chambray shirt or flannel to dress the look down. Instead of heels, grab you flat boots or even Converse depending on your mood!
