WHAT TO WEAR: Errands

Have you ever had a lazy moment where you just walk out the door in what you wore to bed? I’m ashamed to admit that I have done this a few times in my life. When is casual, well, too casual? Walking out the door in attire that is better suited for bed time is one of them. A teacher once gave me advice that changed my life. She said that you should always dress to impress because you will never know who you will bump into once you walk out that door—which means you really shouldn’t be wearing a ratty T-shirt and sweatpants even if you are picking up soda from Wal-Mart.

This Fashionisto is wearing the perfect outfit for completing his errands. Denim jeans are always a staple piece for casual wear. Lighter wash denim is great for summer. The more you wash this type of denim, the more it will create wear and tear to create a rugged denim look. Layering denim on denim is also a smart way to keep an outfit casual and trendy. His ’70s-inspired corduroy collar denim jacket keeps his outfit on-trend.

You can still dress for comfort and still look put together. His linen crewneck T-shirt helps keep him cool and comfortable while he completes his huge list of errands. This Fashionisto has also figured out that stripes are popular during the summer. A baseball cap is also a great option if you don’t feel like styling your hair. Baseball caps have become more fashionable and come in a variety of different textiles and fabrics. He completes his outfit with a pair of suede double monk shoes.

One Simple Change: By changing his jacket this Fashionisto could easily meet up with his friends for a bite to eat for dinner.
