WHAT TO WEAR: Dress Classy for Class

You roll out of bed at 7 a.m. after a long night of studying (or binge-watching Netflix, we don’t judge) and the last thing you want to do is put together an outfit. Instead, you throw on a pair of leggings and a big T-shirt and call it a day. I get it, we’ve all been there! Even this stylish Fashionista I saw on campus said, “This is the one day this week I haven’t looked like a hobo.”

But there’s a way to be comfortable while still looking chic, and that’s why this Fashionista caught my eye. She ditched the leggings for a dark wash skinny jean and upgraded the basic sorority T-shirt by rocking an long blue short sleeve shirt instead. To combat the South Carolina “winter” (if you can even call 60 degrees winter) she threw on a green army jacket and a pair of distressed riding boots. The outfit is completed by the chunky gold Sheila Fajl hoop earrings and simple copper eyeshadow.

This look is casual enough for class because of its simplicity. The outfit could pretty easily be dressed up, but the small details keep it relaxed. She’s not wearing any crazy patterns or colors, she’s carrying a black backpack not a tote, and lastly her loose ponytail is just effortlessly adorable!

Even if you don’t have these exact pieces, you could just as easily recreate this from your own closet. Just keep the colors neutral and the accessories simple. You could even swap the jeans for leggings if those jeans just aren’t happening first thing in the morning.

All in all, kudos to you Fashionista, we are inspired!
