WHAT TO WEAR: Date

You and your recently new beau decide to grab some coffee and croissants during a busy week at your favorite local coffee shop. It’s been a few days since the last time you’ve seen him and you decide it might be fun to dress up for a change. You don’t want him to realize that though, so you go for the casual ‘I didn’t try but actually tried really hard’ look. Luckily you are blessed with a marvelous day to have a date that happens to not make you instantly sad by the cold from outside.

For some wonderful (and definitely not questioning) reason, you’re granted a single day of bright sunshine and warmer than usual weather. Being from the North in the South allows this Fashionista to embrace the slightly hotter weather by rocking an ensemble perfect for a casual daytime date! This Fashionista is daytime chic while wearing a Free People Voile and Lace Trapeze slip as a dress. Pairing the dress with a vintage sequenced black vest and a black wide brim felt hat over her messy braid hair. Last but certainly not least, zipping on a black pair of riding boots.

One Simple Change: To create a girl’s night out look similar to this Fashionista try throwing on a pair of detailed tights or a pair of black (or dark denim) ripped skinny jeans. You could even ditch the hat and let your hair down. Also you could try switching the sequined vest for a leather moto jacket to finish off the look.
