WHAT TO WEAR: Date Night

February 13th, 2015 at 2:00am

Valentine’s day is right around the corner, so it’s the perfect time to brush up on your date dressing! Dressing for a date is always a little tricky. You don’t want to look like you’ve spent all morning doing your hair, makeup and picking out your outfit. Yet, you also don’t want to look like you’ve just rolled out of bed. This balance is especially hard and if done right will result in an effortless, beautiful look.

This Fashionista knows how to sport an effortless look. Her patterned Angie dress is trendy and chic. Its colorful pattern accents her ensemble with the perfect pop of color. It is complete with a black cloth belt which she has stylishly tied off to the side. Its trendy pattern and belt allows this dress to be chic as well as feminine.

Its dressy aesthetic is toned down by its pairing with her Ivanka Trump black boots and black sheer tights.  This allows her ensemble to look put together without appearing to try too hard. It’s also an excellent way to wear a dress during the winter when it’s chilly and you need to cover more of your legs.

To top it off, this Fashionista has added a Tory Burch cross-body purse to her outfit. Its sleek leather design and gold accent are the perfect addition to this ensemble. It’s small enough to look dressy and big enough to fit all the essentials for date night.

This Fashionista decided to accessorize her outfit with gold and pink dangling earrings. This hint of gold ties in with the warm hues in the dress and adds a hint of shine to her outfit.

One Simple Change: Does the date go so well you decide to go out again, but this time to a fancier restaurant? Just pair this dress with a pair of black wedges. Wedges will make your legs appear longer and can still maintain comfort while adding a dressier element to the outfit.
