WHAT TO WEAR: Date Night

April 15th, 2015 at 2:00am

Cute boys can sometimes be intimidating, especially when they ask you on a date. Sometimes, all it takes is a killer outfit to boost your confidence and to take away any first date nerves. This California cutie knows a thing or two on how to dress for a casual first date. Now that spring has sprung, it makes for the perfect weather to be able to go enjoy the outdoors with a cutie who catches your eye. This Fashionista is planning on wearing her outfit to a fun evening spent at a baseball game! While her team may or may not score any home-runs, her outfit is sure to be the winner (and clearly, her date is the real winner). For a fun and casual date such as this, it’s important to make sure your outfit isn’t too dressy. Yes, you want to impress your date (and you will), but you don’t want to look like it took you five hours to pick out the perfect look, especially for a casual first date. Here’s how to score a few points in the looks department, to ensure that your date will be as effortless and fun as your look.

This Fashionista is all about simplicity, which I love, especially for a baseball game. While many of the other girls might be wearing a simple T-shirt and jeans, she spices things up a bit with her fun and simple navy dress. I adore that she pairs it with this cozy oversized sweater, which is essential for when the night begins to cool down because not all boys will offer you their jacket (although, hopefully her date is a gentleman). All-white converse are essential and classic, adding a casual element to the look, and lastly, her California-shaped necklace is the perfect simple accessory to pull everything together. Her outfit is perfect, and I’m sure her date will be too!

One Simple Change: Need to dress things up a bit? Add a boyfriend blazer, chic accessories like a statement purse and a pair of chunky heels! The outfit is sure to score a home-run at any event!
