WHAT TO WEAR: Conquer That Interview

I hope everyone’s Valentine’s Day was filled with love, flowers, and eating copious amounts of chocolate! Not only is loving others important, but so is self-love, so why not treat yourself to a little (or a lot) of your favorite candies once and a while? My favorite treats to indulge in are either Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, cookie dough ice cream, or a giant piece of chocolate cake. Having a huge sweet tooth like I do really gets in the way of trying to keep a healthy diet!

As this semester rolls along, I’m sure a lot of college students are thinking more and more about resumes, job interviews, internships, and his or her future career. It is always important to get a head start on preparing for what you want to do after graduation and to know what qualifications are needed to reach your goals. Not only will being prepared make you feel more confident on the inside, it will definitely show on the outside as well. One of the most nerve-racking experiences you will probably encounter is being interviewed for a major job opportunity. This is where confidence needs to come into play! You practiced answering interview questions out loud, you mastered the handshake, and now all you need is a stylish, professional outfit to seal the deal!

In these pictures, this Fashionista is wearing a natural beige, fitted turtleneck and pairs it with a high-waisted, patterned skirt. This outfit is the perfect combination of modest and professional, but also trendy! This Fashionista rocks some black over-the-knee boots to show just a little bit of leg. She keeps her accessories simple by wearing a pair of white and gold drop earrings. The earrings complement the outfit well and also create the perfect contrast with her dark hair. This outfit is also a good choice for the cold weather months when you want to get dressed up but want to keep warm as well!

By the time interview day comes around, you have your outfit all planned out. You will definitely feel confident on the inside while expressing it on the outside because you are well prepared and have an awesome outfit to show off!
