WHAT TO WEAR: Concert

Everyone knows that after your last final you’re finally free to head home for the summer and reunite with your old friends. But, when everyone is taking summer classes and working to make money for next year it’s hard to make time to see each other. With only a short three or four months at home, you want to make the most out of the few times everyone can get together. I know my friends and I will pick a few big events that we will all set aside time for to be able to see each other. Concerts are a summer staple and are an occasion that most people can agree on.

So, while everyone tries to figure out a list of food and games you need for your tailgate, all you can think is… “What the heck am I going to wear?”

After all, this is going to be one of the biggest memories of your summer, so you’re going to want to look your best! Setting aside time to find that perfect outfit is definitely a must. I know personally when I go to concerts I try to find items that I feel comfortable in and that won’t make me sweat in the summer heat.

This Fashionista is ready to take on Justin Bieber, Drake or any other artist that decides to make an appearance in her city. She flawlessly mixed shades of black and brown in order to create a unique and bold statement. The interesting part of this look is that every item that she added has a different style, but they all come together to make a perfect outfit. A floral top mixed with edgy shorts and a boho bag clearly show this Fashionista’s personal style. When looking for your picture-perfect concert ensemble, look to mix and match daring items that express who you are. Don’t be afraid to add accessories to highlight your outfit’s best features, like this Fashionista’s rings.

One Simple Change: Decided that you want to incorporate your concert look into your family vacation? Switch the dark shorts out for a pair of white jeans or a denim tea-length skirt. This will give the look more of a surfer girl-vibe and the longer length bottoms will most likely get dad’s approval.
