WHAT TO WEAR: Class

As a Fashionista, I have many fashion goals. One of them is to pull off the effortlessly cool, just-rolled-out-of-bed look. Although it looks easy, in reality, it takes me about an hour, and I usually look like a mess. I am on the hunt to find that happy medium between dressy and casual. I love when Fashionistas walk around the halls with their outfits on point. From head to toe, they are meticulously put together. As college students, we have to balance everything from 8:00 a.m. classes, small dorm room spaces and public restrooms.   Sometimes being a girl is harder than it looks and is definitely underrated.

Since spring is finally here (#blessed), it comes with the motivation to get ourselves back on track. Personally, spring fashion is my favorite fashion. We can dust off our favorite sundresses and statement pants. This Fashionista pulls out all the spring trends. She is even wearing this spring’s Pantone colors strawberry ice and dusk blue. From her nails, to kate spade watch and to her T-shirt dress, each one complements the next. She then pairs it with a beige cardigan and beige knee-highs with booties. Since this Fashionista is petite, the shorter booties even her out and complement the outfit. She pulls off the effortless-class look. On a nice day, this outfit is perfect to wear to class. It is casual and cute without being too dressy.

One Simple Change: To make this outfit even more of a showstopper for a date night, I would add a statement necklace.  It will attract some more attention to your dress and overall complete the look. This little change will make a big difference to your outfit.
