WHAT TO WEAR: Class

January 13th, 2015 at 2:00am

Waking up every morning knowing that there is a long day ahead is one of the hardest things many college students have to deal with. Sometimes hitting the snooze button over and over, and pulling up the covers is a better option. The second hardest task to do every morning is to choose what to wear. However, dressing up for class does not have to be that difficult.

You can still look cute and not really have to put a lot of thought into the outfit you have created by pairing basics with key essentials. This Fashionista is doing just that! She is wearing a long striped maxi that falls just perfectly below her ankles. Simple maxi dresses are considered to be basics in any closet, because they are easy to dress up or down. My favorite part of this outfit is her jean jacket, as it tones down the stripes of her maxi dress, and it gives the outfit a more polished look. The jacket completes the outfit, and is also perfect to throw over when it gets chilly walking to a late class. Jean jackets should also be in every college girl’s wardrobe, because they can practically be worn with anything! I love wearing mine over a dress, and I complete the look with a thick scarf and boots.

This outfit looks very casual, because of her white Converse and TOMS sunglasses. I think many students forget to bring their sunglasses and bring their rain boots and umbrella instead. However, there are occasional sunny days in Corvallis and packing shades wouldn’t be a bad idea!

One Simple Change: Having a girl’s night out after class? Throwing on a moto jacket and booties will give this dress an edgy look perfect for walking around town.
