WHAT TO WEAR: Class

College is a time in which our peers constantly influence us, whether they are fellow students, professors, advisors, etc. At Fordham, there is constant fashion inspiration wherever you look. One of my favorite places to observe how my peers are wearing the latest styles is in class. Some people are notorious for wearing their pajamas, some people take it easy in their Nike shorts, and some people dress their very best. I am constantly inspired by the different styles, textures and colors that flow in and out of Fordham classrooms on a daily basis.

This Fashionista shows us how to don a casually quintessential ensemble to class. Her leggings are suitable for a long day of classes and activities. They provide optimal comfort and are a staple apparel item seen in classrooms across the country. She dresses up her look by strutting around in her leather boots. Their simplistic design is enough dress up even to the most casual looks.

One of my favorite clothing items is a button-down shirt. This Fashionista wears a classic white one. They are great options to have in your closet because they can be worn so many different outfits. I believe they are an extremely versatile and essential item.

Finally, this Fashionista adds a pop of color to her outfit with her scarf. It offers just the right amount of contrast and liveliness. Her jewelry amounts to just the right amount of accessories. Timeless and simplistic pieces are perfect displays of any Fashionistas/os unique taste and styles.

One Simple Change: Presentations are usually a common occurrence within college classrooms. We usually can expect to give at least one per semester. If your professor does not require you to dress formally, you should still try and look your very best. Swap out this Fashionista’s leggings for a nice pair of corduroys or dark wash jeans to dress up this classic look.
