WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Every college student can agree: April is absolutely dreadful. With papers piling up, group projects calling your name and the dreaded finals creeping in, it’s easy to let your wardrobe reflect your mental state: falling apart. As if school isn’t enough to worry about, your hygiene and appearance are begging for attention.

When you’re up until 3:00 a.m. in the library working on your third paper due this week, it’s easy to roll out of bed the following morning and run to class in the exact same leggings and T-shirt you had on from the long day before. However, there’s a simple and (I promise) equally as comfortable change you can make in your day-to-day outfits that will leave you feeling fresh yet cozy.

This Fashionista does a fabulous job of keeping her appearance looking comfortable, casual and composed while dashing around campus. Her secret? An easy swap from leggings to jeggings and soft neutral layers. Also, this look is great for the current shift in seasons: it offers removable and breathable layers to keep you comfortable outside walking to class while warding off even the most poorly temperate classroom buildings. Soft, neutral tops are a great addition to your spring (thankfully soon to be summer) wardrobe while a flowing light sweater is never out of season.

One Simple Change: Try swapping your everyday cotton or athletic black leggings for some just-as-cozy black jeggings. You’ll feel more put together and productive than if you just wear your part-time pajamas to class.
