Even though it’s summer time and a lot of people are home with their families, some students are still on campus taking summer classes, working on projects or interning. So what do you wear to class when all you want to do is lounge around at home or head to the gym? This Fashionista shows us how to rock the athleisure trend that allows you to go straight from class to the gym.

Athleisure is described as a trend that has occurred because people are buying activewear to wear as casual clothes. This trend has been going on for a few years now, and has spiked sales of brands like Nike and Adidas and has caused the launch of celebrity activewear lines like Beyoncé’s Ivy Park for Topshop and Rihanna’s line for Puma.

This Fashionista is on top of the trend with her gray leggings that can be worn to the gym or to class. The mesh detailing on the back of her calf is another new trend in athleisure and has been seen in countless brands’ new leggings and cropped leggings. Since the leggings are neutral color, she is able to rock a printed three-quarter zip. Her custom Nike roshe sneakers are also a product of the athleisure trend – brands are allowing customers to become creative with their products in an unprecedented way. She accessorized with a backpack for class, and a FitBit to help record her steps for the day.
