WHAT TO WEAR: Class

February 18th, 2016 at 2:10am

It’s Friday, and the weekend is calling your name! Only one more morning class until the weekend festivities with friends begin! Of course, it’s easier to roll out of bed and throw on a sweatshirt and jeans, but this Fashionista shows how you can easily amp up your last outfit of the school week with this winter-warm (and comfortable) ensemble! Here at the College for Creative Studies, students are always on the go to get to classes that consist of a lot of hands-on work. This outfit is perfect for the average student to wear whether they are drawing at an easel, designing on the computer or making models in the shop.

This Fashionista was especially clever with her use of high-waisted leggings. She successfully tucked her cream button-down in to her leggings without the expected bunchiness. The fringe cardigan is a great addition to the neutral palette and perfect to put on to walk between classes, and then take off once the painting and messy projects begin! The combination of the cardigan and leggings are practical for comfort while also rocking serious style.

Her use of brown, cream, taupe and black is refreshing. The olive hat works as a statement piece and a complement to the outfit. The hat not only works as striking accessory, but also a sneaky tool to cover up end of the week dry hair!

The accessories in this Fashionista’s outfit are subtle, but they definitely make an impact! The gold stackable rings and an eye catching midi ring are a cute way to add tiny details with a personal touch. The gold and blue stone necklace adds a finishing touch to the button-down and completes the gold theme found in the jewelry.

One Simple Change: Class is over, and the weekend has finally begun! To rock this look at a formal dinner with friends, replace the fringe cardigan with a metallic blazer for a funky nighttime aesthetic.
