WHAT TO WEAR: Class

The semester is now in full effect and the work is starting to pile on here at Quinnipiac and universities all around the country. With all the regular readings, tests and papers that are coming out of the woodwork, looking cute when going to class may be the last thing on one’s mind. Being busy with class and getting things done doesn’t mean you have to lose your stylish side. By taking staple, classic and stylish pieces out of your closet you can easily make cute and comfy class appropriate outfit for any day of the week!

This week’s Fashionista’s outfit is perfect for going to class. She is very well put together, but doesn’t look or feel over the top. She is wearing a classic gray sweater with knit texture and pocket detailing; this a staple wardrobe piece that is easy to throw on and look effortlessly cute. It is paired with a beautiful deep wine colored jacket to keep warm on her way to class. When you’re doing things on campus and sitting in classes multiple times a day the last thing you want is to not feel good in your clothes; but you also want to be comfortable.

The plain black leggings and black zipper-detailed boots are perfect to maintain this balance. This pairing keeps the outfit comfortable for class but still look polished. Lastly, she added some extra sparkle to the outfit by adding statement jewelry pieces. A single pair of elegant crystal earrings adds a classic girly element to the look, and the statement necklace brings that extra flair to the ensemble.

One Simple Change: If you’re not comfortable in a heeled shoe you can opt out of the high-heeled boots for a pair of lower riding boots for a more casual look.
