WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Well now that Mother Nature has decided to bless little California, Pennsylvania with snow (and lots of it!), it’s important to find the perfect look that keeps you warm but comfortable at the same time.

Class is the first priority for college students. For a Fashionista, being stylish on your walk to and from class is the second priority. This Fashionista took her love for earthy, neutral tones and transformed them into the perfect look for a busy day full of long classes and meetings.

Since it is still cold outside, actually very cold outside, this Fashionista opted for a casual, yet warm jacket that she can easily wear under a cute bubble coat to make the long trek through the snow storm. This utility jacket is perfect in the olive green color because she can pair it with almost anything.  This Fashionista decided to pair hers with a classic, white striped T-shirt. The horizontal navy stripes on her tee make for the perfect combination and do justice to her already slim figure. Denim is always the perfect mate to any outfit, especially this Fashionista’s choice of a light shade because it makes the olive green of her jacket pop. This is the perfect outfit for class because it’s not only comfortable, but it’s also stylish and warm.

In the winter months, especially with the inches upon inches of snow we’ve been receiving lately, the number one element of importance for an outfit is the shoes, or better yet the boots! Boots are the key to a successful winter, and this Fashionista chose the perfect pair with her basic, black combat boots. They are not only cute (and should be a piece in every Fashionista’s wardrobe), but they also double as a slip-proof shoe that guarantees no embarrassing falls in the middle of campus when they decide not shovel the sidewalks.

When it comes to accessories, this Fashionista went minimal. Her personal collection of Alex and Ani bracelets never leaves her wrist, and she never leaves home without her Apple Watch, especially for class since it makes it a lot easier to secretly check her phone in class!

One Simple Change: This Fashionista can swap out her striped T-shirt, and put a cute flowy blouse underneath her utility jacket to make this outfit go from girl on the go and transform it into cute brunch attire. If she wants to add a little more detail, she can even add a cute necklace and swap her boots for a pair of cute flats to give a girly touch to her look.
