WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Getting dressed for class can be hard, especially if it’s at 8:00 a.m. You’re tired and don’t feel like putting any effort into your outfit for the day. After all, why should you put extra effort into getting dressed when most college students definitely do not? I personally think that standing out is a good enough reason in itself. Your wardrobe choice is probably the easiest way to set yourself apart. And don’t worry, it’s not necessary to sacrifice comfort in order to stand out. It’s all about looking put together and showing off your personal style. This Fashionisto shows us how it’s done.

This Fashionisto puts an edgy upgrade on the typical sweats and sneakers look. The look is comfortable, but still cool. Geometric printed sweats (or joggers, as the cool kids call them) are anything but basic. This Fashionisto also nails one of my all time favorite trends: mixing prints. His printed T-shirt pairs well with the sweats because it’s in the same color story, but different enough to create contrast. Leather sneakers are still casual, but add a luxe detail. Printed socks are another fun and cozy detail. Three different prints in one look? It totally works. This look is completed with a classic black puffer coat, definitely a style essential here in Chicago.

One Simple Change: Heading straight from the library to dinner? Swap out the coat for a leather jacket to take this look from day to night. The dressed up sweats look is on trend right now.
