Winter break is finally over, it’s a new year and you’re trying to get the hang of the new semester. As college students, we tend to wake up late for class at least once or twice a semester, and getting our sleeping schedules back to normal can be a difficult task. We often press the snooze button just to get an extra ten minutes of sleep and that ten minutes of sleep may turn into 30 minutes. Just in case, you may wake up late for one of your early morning classes, it is always good to know a quick fit that you could put together. This Fashionista knew exactly what she could match together in a case like this.

If you live in Michigan or somewhere on the east coast, you may know how bad the weather can be during the winter. During this time of year when most college students are running late, the first thing that comes to mind is a pair of sweats and a hoodie. Now, let’s be honest! If you are a fan of being warm and comfy during a cold winter, then this look may just be for you.

This Fashionista put together a plain black fit with a little bit of her style just so she did not look as if she just rolled out of bed. Styled out in her all-black ribbed knit turtleneck sweater, she added her black and white pattern knit cardigan to give it a more traditional look, with a pair of black denim jeans, and some flat over-the-knee boots. This look is perfect if you are in a rush and just want to get in and out of the dorm room while you still have time to get to class.

One Simple Change: Finally out of your morning classes and want to grab lunch with some of your friends? Try adding some excitement to the fit by putting on a color collarless blazer,  some gold accessories and a nice black ankle boot with a small heel. This will take you from a casual style to a more sophisticated look.
