WHAT TO WEAR: Celebration

It’s the season of graduation, which means lots of parties! Whether it’s a little sister’s high school graduation or a sorority sister’s college graduation, your mailbox is probably already swamped with grad party invites. The only question that remains: what to wear to these celebrations?

I always have a mild panic attack when it comes to the vast array of potential outfits for these soirees. I mean, you don’t want to be the one person who rolls up to the party either over—or underdressed. I always have a debate whether to go casual or steer toward the fancier side of things.

Sometimes there’s not a dress code for a particular party, so I’ve found the key to a successful grad party outfit is a happy medium between the two.

This Fashionista is rocking just that. She’s paired her black silk romper with a chunky statement necklace, which adds a pop of color to the outfit. The scalloped bottoms add an interesting element to the simple romper. She decided to dress up the romper by adding a pair of black wedges. She grabbed a pair of funky sunglasses to complete the look, and she’s repping her college with her Alex and Ani University of South Carolina bangle.

Whether you choose to rock a dressed up or casual look, the key to any outfit is the confidence that you exude. Walk in the door like the stylish fashionista you are, and the party goers will appreciate both your unique sense of style and your bold attitude.

One Simple Change: Going for a more casual look for your weekend wear? Throw on a pair of cute flats or sandals to dress down the outfit!
