WHAT TO WEAR: Casual for Class

Is there anything more irritating than when you wake up early in the morning and realize you can’t fall back asleep because you need to do your hair, makeup, and pick out an outfit? When you are attending college, it is often way too difficult to wake up for an 8:00 a.m. and get ready on top of that—especially when you go to school in Ohio. One minute it is freezing cold, and the next you don’t even need a jacket to keep warm! Sometimes it is just easier to throw on a pair of sweatpants and run out the door than to pick out a stylish outfit and ultimately be uncomfortable for the rest of the day. Thankfully, there’s a way to have the best of both worlds! I personally, and am assuming that most of you Fashionistas, do not exactly feel our best when dressed in sweatpants, which is why I am writing this article!

I came across this outfit while walking across campus, and I knew all of us could relate to it. While we all want to wear a pair a pair of sweatpants sometimes, we can all agree that nothing is comfier and cuter than throwing on some leggings, an oversize sweater, and a pair of black booties for a day of long classes and boat loads of stress. It is a perfect outfit to wear to class; you will be both comfortable and look put together. The sweater shown here acts as a statement piece because it has interesting details, such as the fringe on the shoulders. It can easily be dressed up or down, so it is obviously a great investment for your closet. The outfit pictured is also very versatile—you can have a backpack and go to class or you can accessorize by throwing on a fun bag to go grab a coffee with friends.

College is a perfect time to experiment with who you are and your own sense of style, so never be afraid to mix it up! You should also never be afraid to dress comfy every once while. We all have those days where we just feel uninspired, and that’s okay. It’s not possible for us all to look perfect 24/7; it’s just an upside that we can look cute while being comfy at the same time. Oftentimes I go for casual looks that bring both style and convenience.

Hopefully this article gave you some style inspiration of your own!
