WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

I don’t know about anyone else, but the first thing that comes to mind when I hear “brunch” is Gossip Girl. It was once said by Gossip Girl herself, “Breakfast is brunch, and it comes with champagne, a dress code and a hundred of our closest friends.”

There’s nothing better than hitting the Upper East Side, or iHop, with your best friends for some coffee and endless pancakes. The only thing I like more than brunch itself is getting dressed up to go to brunch.

This Fashionista has nailed the breezy brunch outfit. Rompers are my warm weather go-to. They’re the best way to look put together with little to no effort on your end. This loose fit floral romper is the perfect way to beat the heat and still look effortless. The way you accessorize is the key to turning a good outfit into an amazing one, and this Fashionista nailed it. The many colors in the romper allowed for a fun mix of bracelets and rings. I am a huge fan of mixing metals and stacking braceletsChokers are huge right now and it is so easy to convert your necklaces into chokers by simply putting your necklace on the shortest hook. No brunch outfit is complete without the perfect footwear. This Fashionista kept is simple with gold sandals that can be paired with nearly anything. This look would fit right in on the Upper East Side.

One Simple Change: If you need to take your brunch outfit from day to night add a cute sweater and some chunky heels for a fashionable date night look. Maybe even add a headband in homage to the queen of brunch herself, Blaire Waldorf.
