WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

As I’m lowering the curtain on my college career, I’m starting to look ahead to future endeavors and memories to be made. These future endeavors include getting a job, meeting new people and going to brunch quite frequently. Brunch has become the part of my weekend that I look forward to most because mimosas and breakfast food have become two of my favorite things. The opportunity to add another cute outfit to my weekend is an added bonus.

Even though it can be difficult to get out of bed before noon on a weekend, grabbing brunch with friends is a college memory that will last forever. All you need for a great brunch experience is your favorite brunch spot near campus (my friends and I love Fat Frogg on Elon University’s campus) and an outfit that doesn’t involve an oversized tank top, Nike shorts and flip flops.

This Fashionista created a perfect look for weekend brunch, pairing a classic white romper with simple nude sandals. This outfit is a nice change from the shift or sundress style that has been a common brunch look among Fashionistas. By switching it up a bit, though, this Fashionista is able to create a look that is simple yet unique for the occasion. And what’s better than being the friend with the best outfit? Nothing.

One Simple Change: Want to convert this outfit from brunch to formal? Substitute in nude or black heels instead of sandals and this outfit gains instant dressiness. Perfect for sorority formals, a birthday celebration or dinner with parents!
