WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

Getting brunch is quite possibly my favorite morning activity ever. If I could, I would go out to brunch every day. I mean who doesn’t love waking up late, getting ready and going to eat delicious breakfast foods? Don’t even get me started about my love for breakfast food. And now, with warm weather finally here, weekend brunch, whether it’s with family or the girls, is the perfect time to break away from everyday neutrals in your wardrobe and choose more fun bright pieces.

This Fashionista did just that and is completely brunch-ready. She wears a printed blue maxi dress that’s light, airy and effortless. To balance out the bold print and long length, she chooses to keep the rest of her look fairly simple, adding a pair of white wedges with peep toes and bow detailing. To finish the look, she complements the blue and white print of the dress with a silver and white watch, creating a look that’s easy but still stylish.

This look is great for brunch, but it would be totally appropriate for plenty of other daytime activities, and it can be totally customized to fit your own signature style. Make it your own by choosing your own favorite print, or try a midi length if you feel like mixing it up. Switch out the wedges for some sandals if that’s more your style. Personally, I’m a sucker for any floral sundress paired with a jacket or chambray shirt. No matter what you choose, just make sure it’s colorful, fresh, and ready for spring!

One Simple Change: Have plans for date night or going out with the girls? To take this outfit from day to night, just add a black leather jacket, some strappy heels and swap out the watch for a few edgier jewelry pieces, like some layered bracelets or a pair of gunmetal earrings.
