WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

Seasons may come and go, but brunch never goes out of style. The concept of brunching is a verb (to brunch), it’s an occasion and it’s even an art form. Dressing the part further seems to contribute to its prestige.

If you feel like the infamous autumn orange is so not your color, then look no further for brunch outfit inspiration! Pink is the new orange this fall for this Fashionista. With a hot pink shift dress and red lips characteristic of Valentine’s Day, she shows her fellow collegiates how to steal hearts at any brunch outing, as long as it is Vegan. Whether at The Butcher’s Daughter in Venice or Gracias Madre near Melrose Avenue, a pink dress with some fun accessories will have you standing out in a crowd of muted tones.

To balance out the color play on top, this Fashionista has laced herself up in some point nude heels with flirty straps. She picked up on the dress by wearing a pink cuff, but mixed it with multicolored metals for interest. A final key piece (pun exponentially intended), is her layered key necklace. I guess we Pepperdine students can unintentionally head nod to our Zoey 101 roots.

If Sunday Brunch was with a potential employer rather than a friend or date, simply throw on a blazer of your choice. A white or black fitted blazer would be the perfect contrast to this neon number! Switching out strappy heels for simple nude or black pumps would be the perfect book end to a professional look!
