WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

One thing I wish I did more was brunch. What better way to spend your Sunday afternoon than going to a cute restaurant and eating with your best friend? Yet, in order for me to brunch, I need to wake up early enough for brunch (and get some friends).

When I spotted this Fashionista, I instantly became obsessed with her look. Her carefree, cute and stylish outfit is the same look I recreate every time I go to school or have a day off from work. The first thing I noticed was this Fashionista’s slip dress. I love how she wore a lace bralette underneath the dress, so it would give the dress a more feminine feel. The print of her dress also keeps her look minimalistic while her jewelry and nail polish give off a colorful and vibrant feel. She found the perfect way to accessorize: tons of bracelets and rings, pearl earrings and a gemstone necklace. The blue and purple color of her necklace matches perfectly with her nail polish, and the silver in her bracelets and rings mixes with the gold accents of her shoes and bag.

This Fashionista’s strappy sandals and brown bag also help give her look a casual vibe. Her shoes are cute, but also look comfortable enough to walk in when she and her friends walk around the neighborhood after brunch. Her bag is also not too large, but looks nice and roomy, which I love in a bag because I get to throw in as much junk as I want. This Fashionista decided to throw her hair up in a bun and throw on some classic shades to keep herself cool from the summer heat.

One Simple Change: Going out later that night? Swap the sandals for some open-toed booties and throw on a denim jacket. Then, swipe a bright colored lipstick on your lips and you’re good to go!
