WHAT TO WEAR: Back to School

Now that school has resumed, both Fashionistas and Fashionistos are still seeking for that comfort while looking stylish during this brisk winter.

This Fashionisto managed to look polished and comfortable even on a chilly winter day. His accessories give the outfit that laid back affect. Even though he is only wearing Timberland boots, a beanie and a watch, his outfit both shows comfort while still remaining stylish.

His down jacket is the focal point of the outfit, and it’s my favorite because it can be worn with so many different items. The beanie is a must-have item for the season, and it’s such a statement piece because people wear it so many different ways. This can truly show how different styles are created. Best of all, it’s a versatile piece that can be worn for every occasion whether it’s worn with a pair of jeans or worn with a pair of khaki shorts and a T-shirt for the more warmer days of the year.

The dark denim ties the outfit together nicely. For instance, the Fashionisto could have simply worn a pair of sweats or even a pair of plain slacks. However, he took a different, more fashionable approach. The dark denim jeans are super comfortable and make the outfit more wearable for everyday.

If you want to incorporate Timberland boots into your everyday wardrobe, wear them with a button-down causal shirt just like this Fashionisto does. These two statement pieces together scream causal while maintaining the masculine look.

All of the pieces and colors this Fashionisto combines complement each other so well. The final pieces include a statement necklace that was actually given to him from his father. It’s a perfect piece to have because it’s fun, causal and unique to the Fashionisto himself. Lastly, you can’t go wrong with throwing on a watch, especially with school resuming. So make sure to be on time to class!

One Simple Change: With projects and homework deadlines due, change the down jacket for a vest or even a leather jacket to make your next meeting a more stylish one!
