SIGH. How is summer already coming to an end? Leaving my last final exam with a big smile on my face seems as though it was just yesterday. Now it’s time to start preparing for another long semester. While buying new notebooks and pens never really ignited my fire, there is one type of school supply I don’t mind shopping for: new clothes. All those hours lounging around in your bathing suit while reading fashion magazines is finally going to pay off. Back to school shopping is an important event. It is within this time that you get to decide what your style is going to be for the upcoming semester.
I felt that this Fashionista’s look was perfect for a first day back at school. She wore a T-shirt dress that paid homage to the city that never sleeps, and that is what initially caught my eye. The high contrast between the black cotton and the bold white lettering stands out. This trend has risen to popularity by brands like adidas and Hood by Air and has made quite the statement. Her canvas sneakers add great detail to her overall look. The print is artsy and quirky. This shoe will give one daydreaming student something fun to look at as he dozes off in class. Her light pink nails give her look a pop of color. It is sometimes hard to remember these small details but when given thought they can really take a look to the next level.
