WHAT TO WEAR: A Walk In The Square

When has suede ever not screamed fall, although in most places it is now freezing cold and winter, it is still sunny and warm down here in the south. It’s certainly easy to get in a summer clothes slump when living where fall doesn’t exactly exist, but just because the leaves don’t change color, doesn’t mean you can’t change your closets color scheme to suit your fall mood.

I spotted this super cute Fashionista out on the square and was instantly drawn to the color scheme of the look. I love this look because it is clearly a fall look with this beautiful and of course thrifted tan suede skirt, although suede is typically saved for when a super cold day the length makes this skirt appropriate for the warm weather. Her blouse top is the perfect match for the skirt. I love how the tied shirt adds a little bit of extra detail, as well as shows off the shape of the skirt. Going back to color schemes this dark vampy look is to die for, I mean honestly what screams that the season is changing better than a dark lipstick paired with this on trend velvet choker it really finishes the look off perfectly. Most people would look at the sandals and think they are totally summer but I think the fact that they are cage sandals makes them look more closed than open so they are acceptable when going for a fall look in this heat.

I love that this Fashionista is wearing her natural hair, I am totally in support for the natural hair movement among young black women and was super excited to see hers and rocking it.
