SYLE GURU BIO: Karolina Wisniewska

Hello Fashionistas/os! I’m Karolina Wisniewska and I am currently a sophomore at Ohio University. This is my first semester and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of such an amazing team of young collegiate men and women. I’m studying pre-med with a minor in psychology but that doesn’t mean I want to be a dull dressed doctor. Especially since I want to go into pediatrics, and nothing makes children happier than fun bright colors and interesting unique patterns.

At Ohio University, I not only get inspiration from the students wandering around our beautiful green campus but also from the professors. You’d be surprised at how fashionably aware some of the professors are. Nothing gets me more excited than seeing a high-end trend on a professional right in front of me teaching me what I love!

Since I was a young girl, I have loved fashion. Drawing my own designs, having runway shows with my sisters, and of course coming up with a gazillion outfits with my friends. I don’t have a specific style but more so how I feel waking up that morning. If I feel edgy or super confident, I might throw on an in-your-face shade with a leather jacket. If I feel more cozy and warm, then you best believe that I will be all cuddled up in a neutral sweater or cardigan. For this outfit I have paired the ever so famous turtleneck sweater with the classic black jeans. I have always been obsessed with boots! Lately the knee high boots have been giving the heart eye emoji, plus they’re neutral. Hats are a necessity in the winter, especially in the Midwest. The bow on the beanie gives the hat more personality than just a solid color. Plus, color blocking black and white will never get dull. I like this look from running errands to just being bundled up at a hockey game.

I’m so excited to be apart of CollegeFashionista and be sure to check back on my page because I’ll be releasing new articles every month!
