A Summer Look to “Burn Up the Night”

Good news my fellow college buddies, summer is finally here! What is the best way to celebrate it? Parties! Now, here comes the big struggle: what style will we go with in order to look fabulous during the night of our lives? I propose this makeup look that will absolutely catch the eye of that handsome guy at the corner. I call it: “Burn up the Night.”

Let’s get started! Oh, but make sure that you have put on your outfit first. We don’t want to mess up with the makeup and the beautiful top we are wearing!

1—Starting with the basics. Using the face primer, apply it all over your face with your fingers to make sure that your makeup will stay flawless during the whole night.

2—Then, using a cream foundation, dot it all over your face and neck and blend it with a beauty blender.

3—Take the concealer and cover all those areas with blemishes.

4—Using the bronzer, contour the bridge of your nose, the cheekbones, and the jawline. Now is time to highlight! Take the highlighter and using your finger, brighten the tip of your nose, the bridge, the cheekbones, the forehead, brow bone, and cupid’s bow. Make your face glow!

5—Take the brow kit and fill in your brows in an arched form.

6—Using the powder foundation, apply it evenly on your face. Focus on the areas where oil tends to come out to prevent you from glowing in those unwanted zones. This also helps to set your makeup!

7—We are finally getting to the eye makeup! Use the paint pot as an eye primer and apply it all over your lids. We are going to use the Better Together palette by Too Faced x Kat Von D to create this look. Starting with the color Friendspiration, apply it all over your lids. Then, add swoon at the outer corner of your eye. Make sure to blend it widely. Take Power Couple to darken the outer corners and do the same with Devotion but in a smaller area. Take it also to the lower lashline. Use what is left on the brush and blend it on the inner corner of the eye. Using your finger, take Darling and Lovestruck and add it on the center of your eyelid. Blend it just a little to make sure that there is not an outstanding mass of color on your lid. And that’s it!

8—Using a black liquid eyeliner create that gorgeous cat-eye look.

9—Curl up your lashes and apply mascara.

10—Last but not least, apply a nude matte liquid lipstick to balance the colors on your face. And we’re finally done!

Have fun! I promise you that you won’t regret those pictures the next morning! Please make sure to tag us @CFashionista if you try this look! We would love to see you enjoying it!
