Tory Burch is known for her bohemian flair and classic colors. I always feel like I could be on the beach far away whenever I see her collections due to the tribal patterns. The spring 2015 ready-to-wear features pops of red, blue, orange and striking white. Her silhouettes are my favorite because they’re never too form fitting and flatter almost every body shape. The tunics presented in this collection are what inspired my look and matched what I had in my closet.
Tunics are the perfect for the summer because they are flattering and light for summer. I found this printed blue one at my local Forever 21 and I’m so happy I stumbled upon it. My red lipstick contrasts with the tunic and is my way of giving that pop of color the collection has. I even tried to recreate the hairstyle the models wore by straightening my hair. A lot of the shoe choices are very wide strapped sandals that I emulated with my cognac Steve Madden sandals. My white jeans are an absolute staple for the summer months and are also very complimentary to the tunic. A fitted pencil skirt as seen in the show is also a great option for this Tory Burch-inspired look.
I love this look because you could wear it to almost any occasion. Going to class, a trip to the mall, a girl’s night out, or date night. Just change the lipstick to a neutral for more casual or add some heels for more of a dressy vibe.
