I spent quite some time browsing through the spring 2015 ready-to-wear lines looking for anything that would stand out and grab my attention. As someone who wears neutral and easy colors on almost a daily basis, I was searching for something a bit more fun and exciting for some fashion inspiration. Full of bright and fun outfits, I found just what I was looking for in Trina Turk’s spring 2015 ready-to-wear line.
This collection stood out to me amongst others mostly because of the happy vibes her looks gave off. All of the outfits she designed are very chic and put together while they still remind me of a fun, retro, tropical vacation. Most of her pieces were composed of very simple designs but had added excitement through the bold and vibrant colors or patterns. You can see many reds, oranges, yellows, greens, blues and gray neutral pieces make up this collection, which gives off a nice fun and summery feel.
To incorporate this adorable runway look into my own, I am wearing a vibrant orange floral crop top, distressed high-waisted jean shorts and some nude T-strap sandals. I recently purchased this top in an effort to break out of my comfort zone and flaunt bright colors and was amazed by the resemblance it had to Trina Turk’s line. It holds a similar floral pattern along with the bright orange, which makes for a perfect summer look. I kept the look fitting for the season and the weather by pairing it with my favorite pair of jean shorts and some matching turquoise earrings.
