STYLE GURU STYLE: Très Chic

Summer has hit and country concerts are finally a go to those small town souls. Many will buy a ticket and then instantly believe that buying cowgirl boots are the only way to fit in for that scene. Little do they know that fashion is all about expressing themselves and whether or not the weather holds up, you will only have a good time if you dress not only in style but in comfortable attire.

The Chloé spring/summer 2015 ready-to-wear collection was my inspiration for this look. This look consists of casual pieces that give off a bohemian vibe, which is the theme Chloé was going for this season. Also, displayed were calf to knee-high wedged gladiators during the runway show, which have been the latest rage. Lastly, the flow of the dresses in the collection gave a slightly more relaxed feel that did not embrace the silhouette but was designed to give a more balanced clean and rural direction.

Humid summer months can kill the mood when having lawn seats. To dress for the weather, stick with loose dresses that will not stick to your body; you will thank yourself after the night ends. This Leith paisley dress creates the main piece for this look. With the print of the dress and the inspiration off of the Chloé collection, I wanted to keep it simple and chic so I decided to layer two simple gold necklaces to add some accessories.

To finish off the bohemian look, calf to knee-high gladiator sandals were a must. At concerts, flat and comfortable shoes are a given. Even though, the Chloé collection envisioned the wedge look, I translated my look into an everyday style that can be worn anywhere.

Get My Look: 1. A loose fitted dress. 2. Calf to knee-high gladiators. 3. Simple necklace.
