STYLE GURU STYLE: The Trend That's Here To Stay

For all you hard working college ladies aiming to be the best you can be, I know those ponderous mornings of the search of an outfit can be tough.  That’s why every woman deserves one of these in their closet. Unlike other fashion trends that disappeared, the jumpsuit that’s been roaming around in the fashion world is here to stay.

As you may know there are numerous styles of jumpsuits, but particularly the one with short sleeves catches the human eye, not only for its style but for its purposes. They are comfortable, convenient, fit many body types and could be worn for various occasions, even work!

After I was blown away from ace & jig’s spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection, I knew a jumpsuit like this had to go on my wanted fashion items list. It feels good to know that when you don’t feel like looking for an outfit or coming up with different ways to piece your clothing together you can count on the jumpsuit.

Due to the fact that there are plenty of colors and styles of jumpsuits out there, it is important to know how to pick one for the occasion. For instance, I wouldn’t go to an internship or office setting in a jumpsuit that has long sleeves with an open back because that wouldn’t be appropriate. Just like how the length of the skirt matters, so does the style of the jumpsuit.

To match this convenient outfit, I’ve also added a convenient hair style. For my ballerina high bun, I used a scrunchy donut that can be found just about anywhere like Rite Aid or H&M. It’s really easy to do when you use the hair donut and there are so many hair tutorials on the internet if you don’t know how to use one.

In addition, a classic jumpsuit like this one should go with a classic pair of black pumps. A closed shoe like a pair of pumps complements the full coverage of the jumpsuit which makes this look for sophisticated yet stunning at the same time. So whenever you’re feeling lazy or simply don’t know what to wear, just zip up the jumpsuit and continue to walk the road to success.
