With the new year comes a new resolve to be even more fashionable than the year before… but when you’re a few weeks into the semester, the stress of classes sets in, and the weather forecast has no chance of looking up, how can you keep that resolution to have your chicest year yet?
Bomber jackets continue to be a popular item among the fashion set, but aren’t always the warmest winter outerwear. Then there’s faux fur, another popular—and much warmer—outwear option. Mix them together and you have the teddy bear bomber jacket, the best new thing in chic outerwear.
To keep this jacket from looking too relaxed, I paired it with a fun, graphic T-shirt and a pair of cropped jeans. Both of these pieces have also been very popular at the moment, especially the jeans. Cropped flares have become my personal favorite style to wear this season and the frayed hem keeps them on-trend.
I played off the pink writing in the shirt with some burgundy accessories—I didn’t want the look to be too matchy-matchy, but have an overall cohesion in color. These Dolce Vita booties have been my obsession this season. Sock booties have been another huge trend this season and a great option to pair with all of those cropped flare pants. I threw on a Love Your Melon beanie in a matching color and my favorite pair of sunglasses to finish off the look.
