STYLE GURU STYLE: Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

Jumpsuits have been in since 2014! Let’s not forget the one Solange Knowles wore riding to her wedding destination…now that is how you do it! Jumpsuits are perfect for a night out, off-duty hours and with them; you can make a statement or you can be effortlessly chic with it.

What inspired me for this look has been 2016 Cruise Trends, ranging from From Ralph Lauren and Fendi to Balenciaga and Alberta Ferretti, which had some of the best jumpsuits for the season. Balenciaga’s Cruise 2016 collection was very simple in color, and had very minimal prints that weren’t too bold for the eye.

What caught my eye was the very minimal low V-cut jumpsuit; even though my jumpsuit wasn’t very minimalistic, it would still do the part for this look. I also did a bit more research an saw that Aztec/tapestry is still a trend for spring/summer 2016.

For my look, I paired a low V-cut black and off-white Aztec print jumpsuit, with a fuzzy maroon jacket and a pair of zipper front heels. The maroon jacket with the black and off-white allows for a pop of color. Adding a pop of color to this look helped add some flavor, so that it wasn’t to plain. To accessorize, I added layers of gold necklaces, a black velvet chocker and, of course, a maroon and gold bag to of course “jump” into summer!

Get My Look: 1. Jumpsuit. 2. Layerd necklace. 3.Tote bag. 4. Fuzzy jacket.
