I’m indecisive. When I purchase something, I go over the million different reasons why I want it. Then I go over why I need it. And then why I want it again. Oh did I mention the price too? I’m a professional pro/con lister. This is what I went through when I bought these suede Chelsea boots recently. However I soon realized you can never go wrong with suede so my decision was instantly made. The spring 2015 runway showed us that suede is seasonless as did Cara Delevingne so what else do you need to convince yourself? Suede is no longer a one season fabric and they match everything in sight to boot. (No pun intended.)
As Cara Delevingne did in the Saint Laurent spring 2015 runway show, she mixed and matched her suede jacket with many textures and prints. I’m always bound to go for the tights and boots combination, but throw in some plaid and I’m head over heels. There are so many different ways you can play with suede, but if you use a little bit of everything you’ll have the ideal look. To make my outfit even more comfortable and relaxed, I tossed on a chambray shirt. This is another piece you can never go wrong with, which is essentially my mentality when dressing in the morning.
Ease and comfort are always at the forefront of my mind as I stare at my closet. I then look to what textures and patterns I’m in the mood for. Today was suede. Tomorrow might be leather. Every day is different, but as long as I’m comfortable and confident in my look it works for me.
