The fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection by Moschino was Jeremy Scott’s best one yet. The models strutted down the runway with a casual, confident swagger. They sported bold graphic T-shirts, denim baseball caps and gold chains, as well as a unique attitude that was representative of the Moschino brand. The runway was full of fluorescent yellows, oranges, greens and blues. In contrast to the neon hues, the collection also featured black leather, fur and denim.
While the collection ruled on the runway, it was clear that the streets inspired the designs. I took this inspiration to create a casual, cool street style look that was perfect for a day in the city. I opted for an oversized graphic T-shirt dress that was similar to the black Moschino graphic T-shirt that was shown on the runway. I love the simple black and white colors of the shirt, as well as the graffiti-inspired graphics. I complemented my jersey style dress with a pair of black gladiator sandals, which were also featured in the collection. I completed my look with a black studded cross-body bag and some extra confidence for a look that was edgy, cool and reminiscent of Moschino’s fall fashion show.
Moschino’s collection wowed on the runway with fun prints, colors and graphics; however, it was the more understated pieces that really caught my attention. I was inspired by the edgy, sporty looks in the collection and the cool confidence of the models. While the head-to-toe neon ensembles featured in the collection were a little bold for me, I am excited to incorporate more graphic T-shirts, light wash denim and the Moschino attitude into my every day looks.
