Summer should be filled with happy moments and fashionable outfits. This season is a great way to express yourself through clothes or at least give off a certain impression. Therefore, this week’s article comes from a bright and cheerful place. After looking through past Louis Vuitton fashion shows, the one that caught my attention was the Louis Vuitton spring 2013 ready-to-wear collection. This show had an array of classic skirt suits that were jazzed up with funky checkered prints. Along with some of those pieces, there were also crop tops and shorts to add some fun elements. Overall, the main thing that made an impression was the color yellow. From the beginning of the summer, I have made it my mission to incorporate bright colored clothes into my wardrobe, since this is the ideal season for them. Throughout the show, there would be some bold yellow outfits followed by black and white pieces. Therefore, today’s look has none other than a bumblebee color scheme.
I chose to wear this yellow two-piece set, along with black and white accessories. This shade of yellow is very close, if not exactly the same shade featured in the collection. Also, the little eyelet details on the edges of my outfit are similar to the checkered pattern in the show, as well. I paired my clothes with a silver necklace because I wanted to stick with a neutral palette of colors for my accessories. My white sandals, contrasting black messenger bag and sunglasses added to my bee theme while also corresponding with the Louis Vuitton black and white fashion show pieces.
