When it comes to boho-chic, Tory Burch is queen. Her 2015 pre-fall line was a beautiful infusion of mod pieces and her signature aesthetic. Filled with laid back evening wear, grid-check patterns and elegant embroidery I couldn’t help but fall in love with the bohemian yet industrial collection.
To recreate an outfit of my own, I took inspiration from one of my favorite looks. I began with a similar color palette of white and black. I love this combination because it’s so clean and simple. To replicate the look featured on the runway, I decided to pair a white and black blouse with black skinny jeans. I already know this shirt is going to be a staple in my fall and winter wardrobe! For subtle embellishment, I wore my Kendra Scott druzy stone necklace and some gold and silver midi rings. To keep the look casual, I chose to accessorize with a pair of Clubmaster sunglasses and my large black leather tote bag; I am so excited to use this thing during the school year as a fun hybrid backpack!
Lastly, I wore my gold and white platform sandals to keep my outfit summer appropriate. With the end of August quickly approaching, I’ve been wearing these sandals as much as I can before the fall and winter months are here! I know they might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m hooked on all things platform. Normally, I’m not a fan of gold sandals; however, these platforms are so comfortable to wear and I love their modern vibe. Wearing unique shoes is an easy way to effortlessly elevate or dress up any outfit without trying too hard. Lastly, I finished my look with an orange lip for a fun pop of color to replicate the brighter hues seen throughout the collection.
