I’ll be honest. Occasionally, I sneak into the boys section of my favorite department stores. While it doesn’t hurt to be surrounded by a group of well-dressed men, I’m actually on the hunt to find a classic button-down or henley shirt that helps me achieve an effortlessly cool look that mixes masculinity with femininity. Browsing the collection online, I was immediately reminded of an oversized blouse I purchased several years ago from H&M and rummaged through my closet to find it. I tucked the blouse into a pair of black skinny pants with metal details and paired the look with my favorite suede and fringed leather moccasins. To amp up the look, I threw on a faux-fur shawl and grabbed my favorite Michael Kors leather purse.
I love pairing oversized pieces, from my closet or my boyfriend’s closet, with classically feminine pieces. By adding luxe materials like faux-fur and leather, I feel as glamorous as a model on a runway.
